Preventing Salmonella Infection on Your Farm Seminar

New regulations for the egg producer and
more stringent salmonella testing protocols are just around the corner, making
the options for marketing eggs from Salmonella-positive flocks likely to be
very limited.
Effective Salmonella control requires
action on several fronts including vaccination and rodent control. However, it
may be difficult to prevent re-infection of birds, especially in cage houses.
Schering Plough are organising a series of free
springtime seminars including a buffet lunch at venues around the country for
producers to get up to date with the latest research findings on Aviguard and
Salmonella.
Seminars will take place on the following
dates at various locations as follows.
